PAINT!  Yeah, looks much better in Interlux 2000e Grey than the old calico colored bottom.  Two good coats to start...

Now let her breath for a week, then coats 3-5 of white.  Then just a bit of wet sanding with 180 grit, and the final VC17 treatment.
